The Song Structure

First Verse

This lineage of women that I honor,

For the last line you can create something that rhymes with your second line and speaks to how what what you are choosing to carry on from her has influenced you or blessed your life.

i.e.

Pours into the person that I be

Has helped to make me all that I am

Second Verse

I am my own woman

I interrupt the cycle of _______________

Options to play with that work with “woman” and speak to your active or intentional interruption

i.e.

I polish the lens through which I’m looking / There’s another way that I am choosing

And through me this cycle can end / Through me this cycle starts anew

Feel free to keep it use this as your model and also to modify it in any way you want, i.e. the rhythm, the melody, the tempo, the key (meaning if it’s too low for you where I am singing it. I have a super low voice.
